As part of the Welsh Government recruitment campaign 'This is Wales - TrainWorkLive' doctors training in Wales be part of a high quality specialty training programme and will receive excellent ongoing support. At the moment Doctors who begin the first post of their GP training programme in Wales from 2017 onwards:
- will have their first AKT and CSA examination fees paid for by Welsh Government.
- in certain areas, will be eligible for a £20,000 incentive.
